39499-hb_24.197.2The focus is on increasing mobility and flexibility to the areas of the body that have restricted range of movement caused by muscular or myofascial dysfunction.

With Remedial and Sports Massage the therapist manipulates the muscles in order to release tension/tightness. By focusing on the deeper layer of muscle and using techniques such as Trigger Point Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage and Stretching, specific issues such as chronic muscle pain, sporting injuries, occupational injuries, RSI and Physical and Mental Fatigue can be addressed.

Therapeutic and Relaxation Massage de-stresses and enhances well being which may help boost the immune system.

After sustaining a shoulder injury 2006, Robert quickly recognised the benefits of musculoskeletal manipulation to aid his recovery. As a result he enrolled at the East West College where he studied Remedial Massage and Shiatsu. He is a member of the Australian Association of Massage Therapist (AAMT). In 2010 he moved to his current location, Coburg Chiropractic & Natural Therapies, at 27 Sydney Road Coburg.

Having seen the benefits of pilates in building core strength and in turn reduce back pain, Robert enrolled in the Intensive Mat Stott Pilates Course in 2011. And on graduating, he opened a Mat Pilates Studio at the same location where he runs classes several time a week.
